Low fat milk might not prevent obesity in children

Regarding milk diet for children I personally observed two school of thoughts exist. If parents aren’t much educated and updated with modern scientific way of thinking tend to feed normal milk (i.e. non skimmed milk) to their children whereas bit learned parents spend significant time scanning milk ingredients list on milk packets and choose the low fat skimmed milk for their child.  But both set of parents have one thing in common, both are feeding milk to their child.

Now why people choose skimmed milk for their child, obviously to avoid childhood obesity problem. These days both doctors and parents are concerned about childhood obesity.

An interesting new research finding might surprise you  and totally change your decades long belief about skimmed and low-fat milk. according to the new finding skimmed, low fat milk don’t decrease overweight or obesity problem in children rather contribute in making them obese or overweight.

Toddlers are children between age one and three years of age.

Such amazing finding aren’t uncommon in medical science when a thought reared up for decades suddenly proves to be incorrect. Parents might talk with their child’s doctor to make sure about the amount and type of milk they should provide to their children.
