Formula to get plural form of words ending with y-
- When a word ends with vowel: (a,e,i,o,u) + y -a ‘s’ is added at the end of the word – e.g.- boy become boys, kidney become kidneys
- When a word ends with: consonent + y -the ‘y’ at the end becomes ‘ies’ – e.g.- country becomes countries or baby becomes babies
